I really love watching movies. In fact, some movies really make me think and wonder about certain matter in my life. last night i was watching this Korean movie called ' Hearty Paws ' directed by PARK Eun-Hyeoung. cried nonstop. i love the movie so much =) watch this show and u'll sure love it .
The whole story begins when the boy in the movie steals a puppy for his sister as a birthday gift. The dog was named as Maumy.( a Labrador Retriever). This boy and his sister really live by their own and there is no sign of their parents at the beginning of the story.
The story is really nice and beautiful when the brother and sister with their dog live with each other and have so many sweet moments in the movie. One particular moment is when, Maumy eating the ice cream from a plastic bag. That image is so nice! The story took a shift when the sister passed away in an accident, the boy blamed on Maumy. So, the boy moved to Busan to find his mother that abondoned them since young and along the way, the boy didn't forgive Maumy. Instead of giving up, Maumy travelled all the way from the hometown to Busan to find the boy. From the moment on, Maumy seem like a guardian angel to the boy in Busan. This is a particular part in the movie that portrayed how Maumy care for this boy.
There are a lot of hardships when the boy is escaping from the exploitation of a gangster that manipulate homeless children for their benefits. Along the way, Maumy really sacrifices a lot to redeem forgiveness from the boy. This movie really make us realize how much an animal will care for its owner and how people actually exploit the animal and abuse them. Besides that, there is also a message in the movie where parents should have full responsibilities of the welfare of the children.
Watch this movie and i believe those people haven't cried for ages will eventually shed their tears. Tell me if you need tissue...
