Universal Studio Singapore was awesome=D
Had so much fun there yesterday wth Dan and Dan's cousins .

After we get past the entrance,
the first sight that greets all visitors is the Hollywood stretch lined up rows
and rows of restaurants and retail shops.
Turning right at the T-junction leads us towards the New York stretch.
The park is made up of 7 themes (or zones).
They are Far Far Away Land, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Madagascar, Sci-fi City, Hollywood, New York, in the order of fun and entertainment factor, Madagascar and Sci-fi City, would be more interesting if not for the closed or in-construction rides.(sad)

Far Far Away Land is a zone where I experienced the most unexpected,
Upon entering the Shrek 4D theatre, I never expected to watch a breathtaking
4-dimension show. It is essentially a 3D movie with the 4th dimension where one physically feels the effect of the actions. The 3D effect was the best I have seen, and the 4th dimension (with the spray of water, streaming of cold air and moving seat, etc) It does bring out a whole new experience for movie watching. Just imagine a stream of water sprayed on your face when Donkey sneezed at you. hahaha!

We took a break from our walk by heading to the Discovery Food Court for lunch before the sensational ‘live’ water show starts .

The Lost World was next.
The Lost World features two themed areas: WaterWorld and Jurassic Park.
the sensational ‘live’ water show with daring stunts and real explosions. Lot of gun-firing scenes throughout the show, with stunt men riding on motor boats and splashing water to the first few rows of spectators. Nearing the end of the show, a small plane (prop) caught fire and fell onto the water, followed by a series of explosions. Awesome show!

we head into the Revenge of the Mummy ride where after we walk like forever into the building.
Revenge of the Mummy is a high speed thrill ride with sharp turns and fast reverse, all while in the total darkness. The ride itself, starts with an excursion of the tomb which establishes the ride’s plot. Once the action (and I mean real action) begins, expect high speed launches, startling drops, sudden reverses. Or should I say expect the unexpected, since all these happens while in the dark, and that creates the feel that the whole ride is “out of control”!

Lockers: There are lockers near the rides for you to keep your belongings before taking the rides. NOTE: each locker is free to use for 30mins, after that the charges are S$2-S$3 per 20-30 mins block onwards, capped at $20 per day. You may want to change locker after each ride.

Park Rapids Adventure is literally the most wet ride in the park. That said, other than the last section of the ride where the raft actually plunges down from a height, A word of warning though, be prepared to get very wet, if you do not intend to wear a poncho/raincoat while taking the ride. Your my head, body and feet totally soaked with water=D

Last stop we went was the filmmakers hosted by Steven Spielberg. (Lights, Camera, Actions!)
Get to know the incredible special effects as an empty stage becomes the setting for a major hurricane about to hit New York City, Just before your very eyes!
Its really incredible.

So much unexpected, hidden behind scenes story, fun and disney characters .
Its really a worthwhile trip .

Ps: Thanks for the wonderful day, Love.
